Advisory Groups
A Project Advisory Committee (PAC) has been established to help guide the planning, design and construction of the City of Des Moines’ Southeast (SE) Connector Project that will link Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway to U.S. 65. The purpose of the PAC is to gather comments and reactions on project issues and to communicate meaningful input to the City and Project Team.
The PAC is composed of people interested in planning the future of the southeast area of Des Moines. PAC members include people who reside or work in the area as well as individuals who word for affected governments, organizations and agencies. The PAC will stay informed on project developments and act as a community representative to be heard throughout the process.
The PAC will meet a minimum of eight times during the three-year project period. Members of the Des Moines community may access the minutes from these meetings by visiting the project Web site.
